The Harem was one of several strip clubs on North Dixie Drive in Harrison Twp. raided in September. 11 of the club’s employees were indicted on sex, drugs, and food stamp violations.

Following the raid, officers changed the locks and have closed the business for now, but prosecutors are trying to make it permanent due to undercover agents witnessing of sexual solicitation and illegal drug activity.

During the hearing, one undercover agent told Judge Dennis Adkins that over nine months he went to the Harem two to three times a week and would be inappropriately touched by dancers, solicited for sexual favors and even able to purchase drugs from the dancers.

The hearing will reconvene at Montgomery County Common Pleas Court Thursday morning at 9 a.m.
