The snow this week has kept road crews in Greene County busy.
Greene County Highway Superintendent Eric Miller said this week’s storms “have eaten up more salt than any other this winter.”
On the county’s roads, Tuesday through Friday morning, crews dropped more than 485 tons of salt.
The county also has used almost 5,000 gallons on beet heat to treat roads this week as well.
Miller said, “looking at the five day forecast, I like the 50’s I see.”
