Registration open for Beavercreek Citizens Police Academy

The deadline is still a few weeks away if you want to sign up for the Beavercreek Citizens Police Academy.

Participants in the city's 15th Citizens Police Academy will meet from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Wednesdays from Sept. 13 to Nov. 1.

The Academy will be conducted by Beavercreek police and guest speakers in law enforcement. Participants will learn about patrol operations, investigations, the K9-unit as well as get a chance to ride along with an officer on patrol and visit the firing range.
