A man caught inside a resident’s vehicle early Tuesday ran off from police.
Greenville police were dispatched around 3:30 a.m. to the 200 block of Central Avenue on reports of a man inside a vehicle in front of the residence.
On arrival, the suspect, later identified as Derek L. Dodson, 29, of Richmond, Indiana, fled on foot from officers, according to police. Officers chased down and apprehended Dodson, and was he was booked into the Darke County Jail on suspicion of vehicle trespass and obstructing official business, according to police.
