Police were called Friday evening to a report of an armed robbery at a Dollar General store.
An alarm company reported to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center that around 6:20 p.m. a man stole a Honey Bun from the store at 2312 N. Main St.
When he was confronted, he reportedly pulled a folding knife and ran away.
The suspect was described as a bald man in his 40s or 50s with a short blackish gray beard who stands between 6 feet 2 and 6 feet 3 inches and weighs about 200 pounds. He was wearing a black and navy striped beanie, lime green bubble coat and blue jeans.
No injuries were reported.
