Beer truck pulls down power lines resulting in Dayton house fire

Power lines pulled down by a beer truck resulted in a house fire on Caho Street in Dayton early Tuesday afternoon.

No one lives in the house, which is being renovated and does not have power, according to firefighters.

Crews were first dispatched to Caho Street near Nassau Street in Dayton around noon on reports of a semitrailer that pulled down power lines in the area.

While crews were responding, firefighters were told a house fire was also in the area after the wires were pulled down, according to emergency scanner traffic.

No injuries have been reported.
