Reports: 1 in custody after high-speed pursuit ends in Huber Heights

A reported high-speed pursuit that began in Clark County has ended in Huber Heights with at least one person in custody, according to initial reports.

Scanner traffic indicates an officer in Clark County pursued a vehicle on U.S. 40 in Clark County around noon. Speeds during the pursuit reached at least 80 mph, according to initial reports.

The chase stemmed from a speeding incident in Donnelsville.

The driver was reportedly going more than 70 miles per hour in 35 mph zone.

Officers reported one person was taken into custody around 12:10 p.m. in the area of U.S. 40 and Bridgewater Road in Huber Heights.
