Reward offered in search for missing Yellow Springs man

A reward is being offered for information leading to the whereabouts of a man who has been missing from Yellow Springs since January.

Leonid "Lonya" Clark was last seen Jan. 13, and his adoptive father, Eric Clark, is offering a $2,000 reward. Clark on Monday created the Facebook page "Reward for Lonya's Whereabouts." In one day, 22 people contributed $1,356 toward a goal of $3,000.

“Even after many interviews, canine searches, door-to-door searches, and village-wide building searches, there’s no reliable information which provides any substantive clues,” the page reads.

Lonya Clark is described as standing 5-feet-7, weighing 130 pounds with thin brown hair, hazel eyes and a sun/moon tattoo on his arm.

Clark said Lonya suffers from mental health issues and has been homeless for about eight years. Lonya does not have a driver’s license, no known source of income and no assets, according to Clark.
