Rob Turner is Cedarville’s program director

Cedarville University has named a director of its new Master of Ministry program: Rob Turner, who will transition from adjunct to associate professor of Bible effective Aug. 1.

As program director, Turner will provide leadership for the creation of the new graduate program intended to equip leaders in ministry. He will develop curriculum, cultivate faculty and create a network of local churches to provide internship opportunities for students, according to Cedarville.

Turner graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in communications and received a Doctor of Philosophy from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2012, according to Cedarville. He will continue to serve as lead teaching pastor at Apex Community Church, the university announced.

Turner lives in Dayton with his wife, Angela, and their four children, Rachel, Gabriel, Christopher and Chloe. STAFF REPORT
