Robots fight on Saturday at Nutter Center

Remote-controlled robots will face off on Saturday at the Wright State Nutter Center.

The robots are designed and built to inflict maximum damage by high school and college students for the Ohio Robotics 2014 Spring Xtreme BOTS Competition. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Tickets are $5 per person and are available at the door.

According to Wright State, the robots go head-to-head and students design them to ram, flip and using a specially built weapon against their opponent.

Each match lasts three minutes, unless one of the bots is knocked out, according to Wright State.
