A rollover crash caused a chain of events in both directions of travel on I-75 as scattered showers moved through the area Monday morning.

Sheriff’s from Montgomery County were dispatched to southbound I-75 near Wagner Ford Road and found a car flipped over in the middle lane just before 5 a.m., according to a press release.

A preliminary investigation revealed the driver lost control, hydroplaned, hit the right side of the wall and flipped upside down on its’ top.

Two semi trailers also collided on the interstate while trying to avoid the rollover crash. Debris from the trailers traveled over the north and south lane divider, causing multiple vehicles who were traveling north to suffer flat tires.

No injuries were reported in either of the incidents.

Lanes were blocked and traffic back-ups were reported to Needmore Road on the southbound side of the I-75 while crews handled the wrecks.
