By using Lyft and other local transportation providers, customers will be able to book a trip around their own schedule from designated Connect stops, receive a ride and then connect to RTA routes 18 and 60 at a transfer point in Miamisburg, according to RTA.
From the transfer point, customers can access RTA bus lines to connect them to more destinations throughout Montgomery County.
As part of the pilot phase, RTA Connect customers will use a discount code for a free trip with with Lyft or another transportation provider.
How it works
Using the Lyft app at a designated RTA Connect stop, customers will enter the code
"Connect937" into the app to book a discounted Lyft trip. Customers can also call the RTA Call Center at 937-425-8300 for a representative to assist with booking a trip.
Customers can use rideshare services to directly get to the RTA transfer point at 1st Street and Central Avenue in Miamisburg. From there, customers can connect to more frequent RTA routes.
Customers who require a lift-equipped vehicle may schedule a ride by contacting an RTA Connect Representative at 425-8300.
