Greater Dayton RTA to stop accepting tokens at end of year

RELATED: Greater Dayton RTA buses could be rid of cash fares by 2020

The RTA announced earlier this year that it would phase out and eliminate its token program because of costs and low customer usage, according to the public transit service.

Tokens are nonrefundable, so riders with tokens need to use them by Dec. 31.
