Saturday Springfield shooting victim identified

Cecil was shot in the chest and died soon after at the Springfield Medical Center High Street Campus.

Though few details of the shooting have been given, the coroner's office says the case is being treated as a homicide.

A neighbor found Scott on the ground and wounded near his home.

Neighbors say Scott lived with his mother and they were planning to move out of the neighborhood Sunday.

There is no word on a suspect in this case.
