The city rebuilt the facility over the past six months, including removing the six old tennis courts, the release stated. The construction of the new facility consisted of five tennis courts, a 25-space parking lot, Gardner Pool, Shafor Park, and the tennis facility.
The new tennis facility will also be the home of the Oakwood High School Tennis teams, according to the release.
