Shots fired into a vehicle in Harrison Twp., deputies investigating

Deputies continue to investigate Wednesday after shots were fired from one vehicle into another one in Harrison Twp., according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Emergency units were dispatched to reports of gunshots in the area in the 3800 block of Briar Place around noon Wednesday.

Several shell casings were found at the scene, but both vehicles left the area before deputies arrived on scene.

Additional details were not available and the incident remains under investigation by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

FIRST REPORT

Deputies are investigating a report of shots fired on Briar Place in Harrison Twp. Wednesday afternoon.

Emergency crews responded around noon to the 3800 block of Briar Place on initial reports of shots fired from one vehicle into another.

There have been no shooting victims found, according to emergency scanner traffic, but deputies have alerted local hospitals a victim might show up.

Both vehicles fled the scene, according to investigators on the scene.
