SPRINGBORO —
The Springboro Police Department is asking for the public’s help to name its new puppy.
The department announced on social media Friday that it is eagerly awaiting the arrival of an English golden retriever, expected to be born next week.

The pup will arrive in Springboro sometime in late July and will serve as a mascot and comfort companion animal interacting with people in emotional distress, visiting nursing homes and attending community events.
