The victim, a male in his 30s, suffered at least one stab wound to the chest, a Trotwood fire battalion chief is telling us, and the man's condition is believed to be serious.

The man has been taken to Miami Valley Hospital.

News Center 7 is working to get a word with Trotwood police.

Police and a medic unit were dispatched about 9:05 p.m. to the address on the report of a stabbing.

The police activity appears to be focused on a house with what appears to be a second-floor apartment above a garage.
