Man who was subject of Endangered Missing Adult Alert found dead

According to the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office, David Richards was found deceased. The Sheriff’s Office would not comment on whether any foul play was suspected. We will continue to update this story with the latest details we obtain.

FIRST REPORT 

A statewide Endangered Missing Adult Alert has been issued for a 67-year-old northeast Ohio man who was last seen by coworkers on Sunday morning.

David Richards, who is 5 feet 7 inches tall, about 195 pounds with brown hair and green eyes, has a history of strokes and memory loss, Champion Twp. police officials said.

And, because of the hot weather with temperatures this week in the 90s, police officials said they are concerned for his safety.

Richards was last seen about 8 a.m. Sunday on Shaffer Road, in Warren, Ohio, Trumbull county.

He is believed to be driving a taupe 2007 Pontiac G5 bearing Ohio plate number HJB 3060.

Police have released a photo of Richards and the vehicle, which is not the actual vehicle involved.
