Chris Ewing, executive director of the chamber, said there are usually 100 to 120 registered sales, and many more that take place that weekend without being registered.
By registering the time and place for your sale with the chamber and noting what kinds of things you have for sale, you will get on a list that will be available for free several days before the sale, she said. The list will be on the chamber’s website and at the chamber office, Dot’s Market, the library, banks, etc.
The Bellbrook City Council passed a motion waiving the garage sale sign restrictions during that time, so you will be able to place signs on your lawn and off your property to direct people to your sale. Signs must be removed by Monday, Ewing said.
She noted that the chamber’s new 44-page Community Guide and Business Directory is available free at the chamber office, 64 W. Franklin St.; the Winters Library; Dot’s Market; the city municipal building, 15 E. Franklin St.; and the township administration building, 2090 Ferry Road. It also will be on the website in a couple weeks, she said.
