Beavercreek R&R DIANA BLOWERS
There is nothing funny about a country declaring war on the United States, unless the aggressor is the Duchy of Grand Fenwick and it’s taking place on stage at Beavercreek High School.
Beavercreek High School’s annual winter play, “The Mouse That Roared,” is a comedy adapted by Christopher Sergel based on the book by Leonard Wibberley.
Under the direction of Jon Kochensparger, the Beavercreek actors will present the play 7:30 p.m. Jan. 29-30 and Feb. 5-6 in the high school’s Alumni Auditorium, 2660 Dayton-Xenia Road.
The Duchy of Grand Fenwick decides the only way to get out of their economic woes is to declare war on the United States, lose and accept foreign aid. Problem is, they end up winning the war and are not quite prepared about what comes next.
