SunCoke now is based in Knoxville, Tenn. It is investing $6.6 million to relocate its corporate headquarters from Knoxville to Arboretum Lakes in Lisle, according to Quinn’s office. Illinois is providing a $4.8 million business investment package to support the project that creates 105 new jobs, according to Quinn’s office.
SunCoke also has a manufacturing facility in Granite City, Ill.
Today’s announcement comes less than a month after SunCoke put out an update that its separation from Sunoco might be extended because of outstanding litigation with ArcelorMittal about coke pricing, according to SunCoke.
