There is an Air Quality Advisory in effect beginning midnight tonight until midnight on Tuesday night for Montgomery, Miami, Greene, Clark, Preble and Darke counties, issued by the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission and the Regional Air Pollution Control Agency.

During this advisory on Monday and Tuesday, levels of ozone in the area may approach or exceed unhealthy standards, so residents are asked to help reduce air pollution by:

  • Taking the bus, carpooling, biking or walking instead of driving alone
  • Refueling vehicles after 8 p.m.
  • Avoiding idling vehicles
  • Mowing the lawn in the evening hours and avoiding using gas-powered lawn equipment

Today, we will see another sunny day with a high near 82 degrees and a breeze, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. Tonight will still be clear, with temperatures falling to around 58 degrees. The Air Quality Advisory will begin at midnight.

Tomorrow will be sunny and warm, with highs near 87 degrees and a light wind. Overnight some clouds will come in for partly cloudy skies and a low of around 65 degrees.

Tuesday will be even warmer under partly sunny skies, with high temperatures rising to near 92 degrees. In the evening Tuesday, we will start to see a chance of showers and thunderstorms, which will continue to rise overnight into Wednesday.
