A Montgomery County Common Pleas judge set bond at $25,000 for Dante K. English.

The court entered a plea of not guilty on his behalf.

English was indicted on July 25 on lesser charges for his role in the shooting of Noah Kinser, including: arson, tampering with evidence, possession of criminal tools and insurance fraud.

Prosecutors say two armed individuals entered Kinser’s Miamisburg apartment on North First Street to commit a robbery, which resulted in Kinser and a 14-year-old girl both being shot. He died from his injuries and the other teen survived.

All of those charged are at least 10 years older than Kinser, who was 18 at the time of his death.

Chaz Gillilan, 30, Jason B. Churchill, 32, and David M. Simone, 28. all face more than 60 counts combined, including murder.

Gillilan, who plead not guilty to the charges, had a $1 million bond set by a judge on June 13.

A bond was also set at $1 million for Churchill and Simone, who both appeared in court on Tuesday.

If they make bond, they will be placed on the court’s electronic home detention program. A judge set a hearing date for Aug. 8 for both Churchill and Simone.

All four remain in Montgomery County Jail, records show.
