PREVIOUS: 1 in custody after Kettering police issue call for officer assistance
Police were called to a report of a suspicious person, who ran across Patterson Road when an officer arrived.
The officer pursuing on foot spotted a knife, which led the officer to issue a “Signal 99” radio call for urgent assistance, which brought other officers from Kettering, Oakwood and Dayton.
Police were able to take Christopher R. Wilson into custody, and he was taken to Kettering Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
Wilson was taken to the Montgomery County Jail following his treatment and is facing charges of resisting arrest and drug paraphernalia, records show.
An incident report shows police recovered suspected meth, cash and an iPhone.
