Tea Party to host Lakota School Board candidates forum

WEST CHESTER TWP. — The West Chester Tea Party is hosting a candidate forum for the Lakota Local Schools Board of Education at 7 p.m. Sept. 1 at Lakota West Freshman School Auditorium, 5050 Tylersville Road in West Chester Twp.

During the moderated event, community and Tea Party members will submit questions for the candidates running for the two seats available on the school board. A main theme of the event will be fiscal responsibility, a core value of the Tea Party, according to a press release.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with attendance being free.

Following the forum, a straw poll will be conducted to determine the forum’s winner.
