Students with loaded firearm near New Carlisle school prompts lockdown

Two students in possession of a loaded gun near school property prompted a lockdown Wednesday afternoon.

Bus drivers discovered the two students walking down the road during school hours and alerted school personnel, according to a news release. Deputies responded, and the students were questioned and searched, and were found to be in possession of the loaded gun.
