Tennessee Tornadoes: Crossroads Church sends aid

Crossroads Church is sending money and a team to Nashville to assist in recovery after Tuesday’s deadly tornadoes.

According to a release, a total of $50,000 will be sent for disaster relief efforts which will be used in partnership with Franklin, Tenn.-based Hope Force International. The funds will be used to assess damage and make a response plan.

The two organizations have partnered on disaster relief efforts for the last 15 years.

Crossroads’ team of volunteers is known as Masters of Disaster. They are a group of trained volunteers who respond to disaster events as needed. They are being deployed to assist in reconstruction.

Crossroads Church was launched in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1995 and has 12 locations around Ohio and Kentucky.
