Former Cloverdale, Vex building for lease in downtown Dayton, Ohio

A downtown club is up for grabs, according to a sign on its window.

A “for lease” sign recently appeared on the window of 101 St. Clair St.

The address is the former home of Club Vex, which became Cloverdale dance club in July 2016.

This news organization reported in January that Hats Off Investment Group was in the process of spending nearly $400,000 on the St. Clair St. building and 118 E. Fourth St., a paved lot, from Dellsa Development Corp.

That company is owned by Scott Edsall of Dayton, according to a contract for deed.

Dellsa Development Corp is still listed as the owner of the property on Montgomery County Auditor Karl Keith’s website.

A message was sent to Edsall via Facebook. Voicemail messages were left for Joseph C. Lucas, the attorney listed on the Deed contract for Hats Off Investment Group.

A voicemail was also left on the number listed on the “for lease” sign.
