The farmer’s market is run by the Vandalia-Butler Chamber of Commerce with support from the City of Vandalia. The chamber hires a market manager who oversees the market and works directly with vendors, organizes the entertainment and works with the weekly sponsors.
The market hopes by bringing the entertainment closer to all the activities, it will give a more intimate feel.
The farmer’s market is at Seger Park on South Perry Street. The first farmer’s market of the year will be June 15 from 4 p.m. 8 p.m.
