Three taken to hospital in Riverside Drive crash

As many as three people have been taken to Miami Valley Hospital in a crash at Riverside Drive and Helena Street, according to initial reports.

Dispatchers said two medic units left the scene around 2 a.m.

Our crew in the area reports two cars are involved in the crash, with one car sustaining significant front-end damage.

The conditions of those taken to the hospital are said to be non-life threatening, according to initial reports.

An additional medic unit has been requested to the scene of a reported injury crash in Dayton.

Crews were dispatched around 1:23 a.m. to the intersection of Riverside Drive and Helena Street.

The number of cars and people involved in the crash in unknown.
