They said the fire quickly spread to a second trailer full of mulch.
Clark said the trailers were between 100 and 125 feet from the main building, which was not damaged.
The fire also damaged some mulch transport equipment.
Clark said the fire may have started from spontaneous combustion. He said the decomposition process can produce heat, which can cause ignition.
No one was hurt.
