Two people are in the hospital after a stabbing took place on Saturday evening in Harrison Twp. A female victim is in critical condition and a male victim is in fair condition according to a press release from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Police arrived at the intersection of Philadelphia Drive and Valerie Arms Drive around 7:40 p.m. and saw the suspect, a 27-year-old make, fleeing the scene in a vehicle. The suspect was stopped a short distance away and taken into custody. Both victims were transported to a local hospital.

Initial investigations show that a domestic dispute led to the initial assault. A bystander who stopped to render aid to the female victim was also stabbed, the Montogmery County Sheriff’s Office said.

The matter is still under investigation by the Special Investigations Unit.
