Two injured in Logan County rollover crash

Two people are in area hospitals following a rollover crash at the intersection of County Roads 60 and 35 in Logan County.

The crash was reported just before 4 p.m. Tuesday and occurred after an eastbound car on County Road 60 collided with the rear end of a northbound car stopped at the intersection, according to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office. The eastbound car then flipped, trapping the occupants.

The driver of that eastbound car, Deanna Apgar, 63, of Lewistown was trapped in her vehicle when crews arrived on scene. She was taken by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital. Hospital staff say Apgar is listed in fair condition.

Passenger William Blair, 23, of De Graff was sent to Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. The sheriff’s office says deputies sent to the hospital to check on Blair’s condition reported he was awake and coherent.

The sheriff’s office says it is in the process of concluding an investigation into the crash.
