Ultralight pilot forced to make crash landing after engine failure

UNION — A single occupant ultralight airplane made an emergency landing in a field near the intersection of Old Mill Road and Phillipsburg-Union Road in Union Sunday at 9:26 a.m., according to the Dayton post of the Ohio Highway Patrol.

The pilot was forced to make the crash landing after the plane’s engine failed, the post reported.

No one was injured.
