Commissioners approve Hendrickson Road rezoning
The Warren County Board of Commissioners voted Tuesday to rezone about 200 acres around the intersection of Hendrickson and Union roads in Turtlecreek Twp. for less dense, less commercial future development.
The vote followed a meeting a week before where residents expressed concerns about how development anticipated around the intersection would affect them.

Christmas festival this weekend
The Christmas in Historic Springboro Festival will be held from Friday through Sunday. Crafts, food, and entertainment will line South Main Street.
South Main Street and side streets directly adjacent to the site will be closed to traffic starting at 9 a.m. Friday. The suggested detour around the festival is on Richards Run Road to the east.

I-75 lane closures this week
Bridge sealing work will require the closure of the left lanes of north and southbound I-75 between Ohio 63 and Ohio 73 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. today through Saturday.
Traffic will be maintained and work is weather permitting.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.

Christmas in Warren County concert
The 11th annual Christmas in Warren County concert will be held on Sunday, Dec. 6, at 7 p.m. at the Mason United Methodist Church, 6315 S. Mason Montgomery Road, Mason.
Singing groups will perform a variety of Christmas carols and songs.
The North Cincinnati Youth Orchestras will be represented by their youngest group, the Concertino Orchestra, as well as the Senior/Cadet Orchestra. The St. Francis De Sales Parish Children’s Choir from Lebanon will perform Advent and Christmas music.
The concert is free and open to the public. A reception will follow the concert in the foyer.

Commissioners set budget sessions
The Warren County Board of Commissioners scheduled special meetings at 3 p.m. on Thursdays, Dec. 3 and Dec. 17, for work sessions on the 2016 county general fund budget.
