Washington Twp. has new zoning manager

WASHINGTON TWP., Montgomery County — The Washington Twp. Trustees have a new zoning manager in the Development Services Department.

James R. Wahl, former planning director for the city of Beavercreek from 2000 to 2007, and Novi, Mich., before that, was selected as the top candidate after a recruitment and interview process.

He was hired to the position of probationary Zoning Manager at the June 1 township trustee meeting, subject to the successful completion of a post-offer physical. He began his new township duties this week.

Wahl replaces zoning and GIS manager Andy Ehrhart, who announced in March he would be leaving the township for a job as director of planning and zoning in Bethel Twp. in Miami County.
