Wilmington Pike construction begins today

The Centerville Department of Public Works has announced a joint project will begin construction on a section of Wilmington Pike between Interstate 675 and Ohio 725 starting today and continuing for several weeks.

The first part of the project will include removing and replacing the concrete curb on the southbound lanes. Traffic will still be allowed through the area, with work crews limited to hours between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Once the curb work is finished, crews will mill and resurface the road later in the season.

The project is a joint effort among the City of Centerville, Greene County and the Ohio Department of Transportation.
