The Wayne High School gym transformed into a winter wonderland with snowmen, evergreen trees, fairies, elves and Santa Claus.
The special event was for three children who are fighting cancer.
“We’re creating an experience through the holidays that we’re hoping will last them a lifetime to show them that we care what they’re going through,” said Robert Mullins, a member of Engaged City Church that staged the event, called City Wish.

“These three children, they have cancer. We just want to love on them and show them this is what it’s all about for the holidays,” Mullins said.
