Riverside Police say they responded to a hit and run accident after residents inside the home, located in the 500 block, alerted officials when a vehicle struck the side of their house and left the scene around 1:15 a.m.

The residents were not injured, though there was apparent damage to the structure and antennas in the yard.

Vehicle debris at the scene led officers to the suspect vehicle a few blocks away at an address on Willaston Drive where police say Adams was passed out inside the car.

She  was reportedly not authorized to drive the vehicle, which belonged to her father, who cooperated with police on scene.

According to officials, Adams may also be charged for fleeing the crash site.
