Woman, juvenile in hospital after rollover crash in Greenville Twp.

A woman and a child are in the hospital after a crash Saturday evening at the intersection of state Route 121 and Childrens Home-Bradford Road in Greenville Township.

According to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office, deputies from the sheriff’s office as well as crews from Greenville Township Rescue and Fire responded to the area in reference to an accident with injuries at around 7:15 p.m.

After investigation, deputies found that a gray 2013 Toyota RAV4 driven by Brenna Campbell, 18, of Oakwood, was traveling east on Childrens Home-Bradford Road and failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign on Route 121. She struck a white 2001 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Hailey Best, 30, of Greenville.

The Suburban rolled over on the road before coming to rest.

Best and a juvenile passenger in the Suburban were transported to Wayne ER by Greenville Twp. Rescue, while Campbell was treated at the scene and released.

The accident remains under investigation.
