Woman previously accused in human trafficking operation indicted on sex charges

A woman previously accused of running a human trafficking operation at a Miami Twp. massage parlor was indicted on criminal charges Thursday, according to court records.

Li W. Corona, 44, was indicted by a Montgomery County grand jury on charges of promoting prostitution, pandering sexual oriented material involving a minor, and possession of criminal tools, court records show.

Corona was first arrested in December 2018 following an investigation at Healthy Massage parlor on Miamisburg Centerville Road in Miami Twp. However charges in the case were eventually dismissed in March 2019.

Previously, a human trafficking detective with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office told this news outlet they believe the massage parlor was a human trafficking operation with multiple victims and Corona was running it.

Corona is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges March 12.

Additional details about the case Corona was indicted on today were not released.
