Woman reports carjacking at Fairborn shopping center

A woman reported a man pulled her out of her car and stole it Friday at a shopping center in Fairborn.

The carjacking was reported around 11:30 a.m. in the 100 block of East Dayton Yellow Springs Road, according to a media release from Fairborn police.

A woman said she was sitting in her car eating lunch when the man opened her car door, pulled her out of the car, and took off, police said in the release.

No weapons were displayed during the incident and the victim was not injured.

Police are looking for the vehicle, described as a blue 2013 Honda CRV with Ohio license plate GXB 6500. The SUV also has several bumper stickers on the back, police said.
