A Chevrolet Malibu headed south on U.S. 127 near Greenville on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017, slammed into the side of a Ford Flex that tried to turn in front of the car.

A collision south of Greenville Saturday morning sent two women and a girl to a local hospital.

A woman driving a maroon Ford Flex at 11:30 a.m. pulled out from a U.S. West stop sign to turn northbound on U.S. 127. The SUV sport-utility vehicle entered the path of a southbound Chevrolet Malibu, which slammed into the driver’s side of the SUV, according to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.

The driver of the Flex and woman driving the Chevy, along with her juvenile daughter, were taken to Wayne HealthCare with injuries that were not life-threatening, according to deputies.

The driver of the Ford was cited for the crash, deputies said.
