A cat named Violet Unicorn was hurt while running across the road in Dayton. Thankfully, a woman driving nearby pulled over and turned out to be the cat's savior.

She brought the cat to SISCA Adoption Center in Kettering, hoping that they could help her, and even offered to help pay for her medical care.

After her exam, the examiners found that her front leg would need to be amputated due to the damage that incurred during the accident. The caretakers at SISCA will help her during her recovery.

Once Violet Unicorn has fully recovered, her profile will be posted on SISCA's website so that people will have the chance to adopt her.
