A store manager confirmed the closing but referred other questions to Darryl McGill, human resources director for Lofino’s Food Stores.
McGill released the following statement on behalf of Lofino’s:
“Lofino’s Pharmacy is sad to announce that it will discontinue providing pharmacy services effective April 1. 2015. The management and staff of the pharmacy will truly miss taking care of the pharmaceutical needs of our loyal customers and the community. Throughout the years we have cherished and respected your continued business.
“To our loyal customers, Management made a business decision to partner with CVS Pharmacies and close its in-store pharmacy. With this decision, Lofino’s is confident that CVS will provide our customers with the same quality, outstanding service and professional guidance for their pharmaceutical needs that they were accustomed to at Lofino’s.
“As of April 1, 2015, prescriptions were automatically transferred to CVS so as to not delay the prescription needs of our former pharmacy customers.
Should a former customer of Lofino’s Pharmacy have questions about their prescription needs, they may contact the CVS Pharmacy located at 1331 N. Fairfield Road Beavercreek, OH 45432 or by calling the CVS Pharmacy at 937-426-4478.
We ask that our former customers be patient during this period of transition to area CVS Pharmacies. Your valued support and patronage over the years was appreciated.”
