Logan Co. Teen Gets Life In Prison For Murder

A Logan County teenager who brutally killed a Bellefontaine woman on Christmas Eve last year was sentenced on Tuesday.

Christopher Tindall, 17, was sentenced to life in prison. He pleaded guilty to aggravated murder in the death of Joann Green.

Police said Green, 72, was beaten and raped inside her Bellefontaine home. Prosecutors said Tindall entered Green's home, which was two doors down from the group home he was living in.

They said Tindall entered home looking for money and valuables when Green surprised him and began screaming.

Tindall will be eligible for parole after 30 years.
