The region’s first Shinola Outlet opens today among the mix of more than 100 stores at Cincinnati Premium Outlets in Monroe.
Founded in 2011, the Detroit, Mich.-based company offers a variety of watches, leather goods, bicycles, journals and accessories for men and women.
The Shinola store will be joined at the outlet mall this summer by luxury brand Kate Spade.
Shinola is one of several companies that has been credited with returning manufacturing jobs to Detroit.
“We are continually striving to bring our shoppers highly sought-after brands they won’t find anywhere else in the market,” Mary Ann Mattscheck, general manager at Cincinnati Premium Outlets, said in a statement.
