A man, reportedly in his 50s, suffered a minor gunshot wound when a birdshot pellet struck him in the abdomen, according to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.
The shot was fired from someone else down range from the victim. It appears the person who fired the shot was not following proper gun safety procedures, according to the sheriff’s office.
The victim was taken to the hospital where he was expected to be treated and released.
