Deputies responded and after speaking to the victim and witnesses, they discovered that the suspect, Eric Frock, was in the lobby with a family member who was about to go on trial. The victim in the case was scheduled to testify against Frock’s family member.
Investigators said it was reported that Frock said down close to the victim and made the comment to his family member that if the victim said anything then he would assault them. Deputies said the comment was made loud enough to make sure the victim could hear it.
Frock was then taken into custody and after being interviewed, the admitted that he made a comment similar to what was reported, but it was not intended to intimidate the victim.
Frock was taken to the Clark County Jail and booked on a felony charge of intimidation of a witness and an unrelated warrant out of the city of Springfield.
